• Sandra Kazee is recognized for her professional and community achievements for the third consecutive year

• Emily Yost is a first-time winner for her work in supply chain education and workforce development

BERKELEY, Calif. — Ambi Robotics, the leader in AI-powered robotic sorting and stacking solutions for warehouse operations, announced that CFO Sandra Kazee and Head of People Emily Yost have been named winners of the Supply and Demand Chain Executive 2026 Women in Supply Chain Award.

2026 marks the third consecutive year that Sandra has been recognized as a Trailblazer,  an award which honors female supply chain leaders and executives whose accomplishments, mentorship, and examples set a foundation for women in all levels of a company’s supply chain network. This year, she was selected for her role in Ambi’s AI Skill Suite launch, which increases the ease of entry into automation for select enterprise partners. 

“Sandra is a rare leader who goes beyond the books to champion operational efficiency and accessibility to robotics, and we feel incredibly lucky to have her on our team,” said Jim Liefer, CEO of Ambi Robotics. “For her to be recognized for the third consecutive year is a testament to her impact both internally here at Ambi and among the larger industry.”

Emily was recognized as a Workforce Innovator,  which pays tribute to female leaders building a better workforce through supply chain education and workforce development. Emily was selected for her leadership of Ambi’s Robot Operator Continued Education Program, community engagement work with local schools, universities, and STEM organizations, and scaling of internal operations processes. 

“Emily represents a new kind of supply chain leader who brings together people strategy, operational discipline, and a genuine commitment to building the workforce of tomorrow,” said Liefer. “What makes Emily exceptional is not just what she has accomplished, but how she has done it – earning credibility from the ground up, and making the deliberate choice to immerse herself in every facet of the business.”

Outside of the workplace, Sandra and Emily are heavily involved in the Bay Area community, supporting the UC Berkeley Society of Women Engineers and other local STEM organizations. Together, they will continue to scale Ambi’s hardware deployments, software licensing, and recruitment of top-tier talent to ensure Ambi remains at the forefront of physical AI innovation.
