Berkeley, Calif. – (September 18, 2023) – Ambi Robotics, the industry leader in AI-powered robotic parcel sorting systems, announces that VP of Finance Sandra Kazee has been named a winner of the Supply & Demand Chain Executive 2023 Women in Supply Chain Award. The recognition honors female supply chain leaders and executives whose accomplishments, mentorship, and examples set a foundation for women at all levels of a company’s supply chain network.

Sandra has spent more than 20 years of her career working with companies from startups to Fortune 500 companies like KPMG, Wal-Mart and United Parcel Service (UPS) to build financial models that incorporate new technologies in order to reduce operating costs and improve efficiencies within operations. Now at Ambi Robotics, she makes these technologies more accessible to larger organizations like the ones that she previously worked for, by means of implementing the company’s unique Robots-as-a-Service (RaaS) model, a subscription approach that lowers the barrier to entry for logistics companies seeking to implement warehouse robotics.

Sandra has made significant contributions to the global supply chain industry through innovative practices, optimization initiatives, and support of underrepresented groups like women in engineering. She serves as the only female on the leadership team at Ambi Robotics and she works with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality deliverables to satisfy customer needs and shareholders. 

In addition to promoting workforce development within the supply chain, Sandra has been actively involved in supporting women in engineering. She works closely with the U.C. Berkeley Society of Women Engineers (SWE) to provide networking opportunities and resources to empower and advance women in the field of engineering. Sandra’s commitment to inclusivity and diversity has contributed to fostering a supportive and equitable work environment.
